The Innovation Story of Ecoterra: Turning Challenges Into Sustainable Solutions.
It all began when our founder, a BIRAC SPARSH Fellow at Villgro Innovation Foundation in Bengaluru, sought to tackle environmental pollution. Through over 40 conversations, a recurring issue emerged: noise pollution. Eight out of ten people identified it as a daily frustration.
Investigating existing solutions revealed a concerning truth: many acoustic treatments utilized materials like glass fibers and formaldehyde-based MDF panels, which pose health risks and emit harmful VOCs. These solutions addressed noise but introduced new environmental and health concerns.
Motivated to find a better way, we developed the Ecoterra Sound Acoustic Panel. Designed entirely from recycled material, natural fibers, and waste materials, our panels are free from harmful chemicals, CARB certified bio panels, and designed for high acoustic performance. They offer a sustainable solution without compromising on health or quality.
